About Me

Hi, I'm Blanca Fernández

I am an English-to-Spanish translator and localizer based in Soria, Spain, with over 12 years of experience specializing in software localization and medical translation.

I hold an MA in Audiovisual Translation by the University of Vigo and a Diploma in Medical Translation taught by Pablo Mugüerza. My professional background combines eight years as an in-house translator at one of the biggest brands of sportswear in the world with four years of freelance work for a wide range of direct clients and agencies.

Outside of work, I am a reader, an animal lover, and an avid video gamer. I am currently learning Italian, hoping I can integrate it as a new service in the future, and I am always up for any plan that involves traveling and experiencing other cultures.

My clients appreciate my approachability, my attention to detail, and my commitment to ensuring that every project turns out perfectly. It all starts with understanding your goals, knowing who your audience is, and what they expect from your content.

If you have a project on your hands and think I can help, feel free to get in touch.
